State Land Information Management System (eSlims) for Mahaweli Authority of Sri Lanka ( eMahaweli)
This is a customization of eSlims developed for Land Commissioner Department for the purpose of replacing current manual system of Land registration in Railway Department. The Land registration part from eSlims is used with some customization. Land leases and payment of arrears are introduced as new modules under Railway department.
Agile software development methodologies have been practiced during the development phase.
Solution included a fully-fledged web based component for data and workflow management for dynamic GEO data capture, display and manipulation. Solution and all its associated components including data, rules, and document management system and web services were all hosted in LGC.
System is currently running live and we are supporting with change requests and maintenance work in future iterations with some data migration tasks and reporting facilities yet to be released.
